Through our national Empower Our Future initiative, the Gamma Elite Mentoring Initiative, and a growing presence on college campuses, Gamma Phi Theta continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact in every community we serve.

The Gamma Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. was born from a bold and necessary vision: to create a brotherhood where men of color could rise together, not just in fellowship, but in purpose. Founded in 2006, what began as a determined idea among a small group of brothers has grown into a nationally recognized fraternity spanning Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Iowa.
Our journey has not been without challenge. We have weathered losses, navigated setbacks, and emerged stronger at every turn. The passing of influential leaders, including Founder Stadford Mace, did not weaken our resolve; it deepened it. His legacy lives on in every Brother who carries our principles forward and in every young man whose life we touch through mentorship, scholarship, and service.
Today, Gamma Phi Theta is more than a fraternity. We are a movement, a family, a covenant between men who refuse to be ordinary. Men who understand that their gifts are meant to be given back to the communities that shaped them.

Our membership spans professionals, alumni, and active undergraduate brothers across six states. We welcome men from all backgrounds and fraternal affiliations, including members of D9 organizations and Masonic orders, united by a shared belief that brotherhood, when lived with intention, is one of the most transformative forces in any community.
Gamma Phi Theta is entering its most ambitious era yet. The relaunch of our undergraduate program is bringing our mission directly onto college campuses, mentoring the next generation of leaders before they ever enter the workforce. Our Hollow Points initiative is preparing a bold new wave of targeted community programming designed to address systemic challenges through brotherhood, education, and direct service.
We are expanding into new cities, deepening our community partnerships, and growing our national Empower Our Future initiative: eight programs serving communities across six states in the areas of mentoring, hunger relief, professional development, fitness, entrepreneurship, mental health, water safety, and disability inclusion.
The best of Gamma Phi Theta is not behind us. It is being built right now, by every Brother who shows up, serves, and refuses to settle for ordinary.
